PHOTOGRAPHERS COMMENT; Good composition and moments are elements we work and wait for in every photograph. On this day as I sat still in front of the stage, those elements fell into my lap. It was an unexpected find for a commencement ceremony, and I couldn't have posed them better myself. CAPTION: (New Port Richey: 05/27/2005) Christian Verstappen (cq) left, dances with Tabitha Pitre (cq) alongside classmates Friday (5/27/05) morning at Renaissance Academy's second annual commencement and closing ceremonies. The commencement event for the school's two graduating seniors included musical and dance performances by children of all grades. (DESK NOTE: THE 3 CHILDREN ON THE RIGHT ARE NOT NAMED DELIBERATELY-- per sue Morrow's instructions -- DUE TO PARENTAL NAME RELEASES, they are allowed to be in the photo though per the parents) STORY SUMMARY:Renaissance Academy, Pasco's only school of the arts, will host its second annual Graduation and Closing Ceremonies Graduating seniors will be presented with their diplomas, and all students will have the opportunity to showcase what they have learned in the performing arts this year. Student artwork will be on display throughout the building. .
