Sandra Michaud (cq) and her daughter, Lexi (cq), 8, visit the grave of their daughter and sister, Katelyn, who died in a drowning accident at age 2, in January 2004. The mother and daughter have both gone through counseling to help cope with the loss, and are now building a new home near Katelyn's grave at Trinity Memorial Gardens. (BRENDAN FITTERER | Times) SUMMARY: Sandra Michaud lost her 2-year-old daughter, Katelyn, two years ago after the little girl drowned in the family pool. A subcontractor had taken down a child safety fence to build the pool, but didnt return in time to put the fence back up. Since the accident, Sandra has divorced Katelyn's father, moved out of the house where the drowning occurred and is now building a home behind the cemetery where the girl is buried in Trinity. Meanwhile, her daughter, 8-year-old Lexi, is reeling from divorce and losing a sister. Hoping she'll show us the cemetery and the girl's grave, too.
